Handmade Microcement Furniture: Commissioning a Bespoke Piece

How a bespoke microcement furniture commission works — from first conversation to delivery — for Central Coast NSW and Newcastle homes.

What we make

Side tables, coffee tables, benches, plinths, pedestals, shelving, freestanding vanities, basins and one-off sculptural commissions — all hand-built in our Central Coast studio in the same Mineral fox / Mercadier system used across our architectural projects.

Brief, drawings and samples

We start with a conversation: room, intent, dimensions, colour and reference imagery. From there we develop a simple drawing, agree the form, and prepare physical colour samples on the actual microcement system for sign-off.

Build, finish and lead time

Each piece is built on a stable internal armature, layered by hand and finished with protective sealers. Typical lead time is 4–8 weeks from design sign-off, depending on scale and our studio schedule.

Indoor and outdoor finishes

Indoor pieces are sealed with our interior protective system. Outdoor commissions — coastal side tables, pool-side benches, alfresco plinths — receive the UV-stable, weather-rated outdoor system.

Delivery and care

We deliver across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, with interstate delivery available on request. Every piece arrives with a written care guide and our direct contact for ongoing support.
